Heated-amethyst "citrine" properties are almost identical to untreated amethyst. If you are looking at citrine for its metaphysical properties, be certain it is not heat-treated amethyst because it will not have the same healing properties as real citrine. Unfortunately, with all the heat-treated amethyst flooding the market, it can be challenging to find real citrines.
